This is one of the biggest robberies in Chile: in 2014, the gang stole 15 million dollars at the Santiago airport. BBCA dozen gunmen stole a shipment of cash using two vehicles, one of which was painted in the colors and logo of the shipping company DHL.
The Chilean police estimated that the gang had obtained “valuable information” to establish such a precise robbery plan to steal this huge amount of money from abroad and which was to be transferred to Chilean banks.
This heist of the century in Chile made headlines at the time and inspired a new Netflix series available starting January 31: Baby Bandito. Produced by Pablo Lararin (Neruda, Jack, Spencer, The Count) and created by Valeria Hoffmann, Diego Muñoz (Neruda, The Count) and Juan Andres Rivera, this fiction tells the story of a teenager, Kevin, in 8 episodes of this extraordinary heist. .
Played by Nicolas Contreras, Kevin sees his life suddenly change when he meets Jeans (Francisca Armstrong), a young woman from a very privileged background. But this skateboarding fanatic finds himself with the thugs of the Butcher Gang, from whom he steals a detailed plan for the heist of the century on a money shipment at the Santiago airport.
Willing to do anything to prove his love for her and help his financially strapped mother, he decides to implement this plan with Genesis, his best friend Panda (Lucas Vergara), the criminal Mystique (Carmen Zabala) and the bandit Panther. (Pablo Macaya), a former employee of his father.

Breaking all the rules, Kevin and Genesis dream of an extraordinary life and experience love mixed with extreme danger. Hunted on all sides, they make a thrilling journey to Rome, where passion and a taste for risk reach their climax. Kevin then becomes the most wanted fugitive in the country.
