Bad news for fans of Star Wars waiting for a second season of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Actor Ewan McGregor said there has been no discussion yet about a continuation of the Disney+ series.
McGregor’s statement was made during an interview with Variety. The actor was available to participate in the sequel, but he revealed that he had not yet been informed of any such project. He also said that “there’s a lot going on at Disney,” throwing cold water on the idea that a second season of the series is coming soon.
On the other hand, Deborah Chow, director of the project, has already clarified that the project was only supposed to be a miniseries, instead of having multiple seasons.
