It was Camille Cotin before Hollywood! Only one week left to see who dares everything on Prime Video

He is one of the French actors who shines in Hollywood: Camille Cotin makes films with the biggest stars across the Atlantic, thanks to the series Dix Pour Cent, whose international influence allowed the actor to find English-language projects.

First with a small role in Robert Zemeckis’s Allies, then in Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Killing Eve, where she shared the screen with Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer.

Camille Cotin then appeared in large-scale films such as Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci, alongside Lady Gaga and Adam Driver, and Tom McCarthy’s Stillwater with Matt Damon, or Kenneth Branagh in Secret Venice.

At the same time, Camille Cottin is also flourishing in French cinema with important roles in Sarah Soucco and Tony in Les Éblouis, Nathan Ambrosio’s en famille. But before this long and rich career began, Camille Cotin had a special role that stuck to her skin.

Before Hollywood, Camille Cotin was a chick…

Known for his comedic talent and absurd humor, Camille Cottin collaborated with Noémi Saglio and Eloisa Lang from 2013 to 2015 for a series of sketches that hit CANAL+: Connasse.

The actor played the main character of Beachy, filmed by a hidden camera, who always caused a stir with suspicious behavior wherever he went.

Very honest, rather rude and without embarrassment, “Connasse” was a very popular character. Her success even continued in cinema with a feature film called Connasse, Princess of Hearts, which was released in 2015. Camille Cotin’s performance earned her a César nomination for Most Promising Actress in 2016.

In the feature film version, Beach questions her life. He feels he deserves better. She decides to become a princess to avoid working and living with people. After a chance meeting with the crown specialist Stephen Byrne, she decides to go to London to seduce Prince Harry.

There he does what he does best: publicly flaunting his immense superiority complex and, among other things, causing a scandal at Buckingham Palace.

If you miss Connasse’s character or if you haven’t seen her princess adventures in London yet, you still have time to check out Connasse, Princess of Hearts, available on Prime Video. But be careful, you only have a week left since the film is released on February 9th.
