Stranger Things in Paris: We visited the Netflix series store and you are going to buy everything!

The world of Stranger Things is inhabited – literally – in France. Before Volume 2 of Season 4 is about to explode on the shelves of Netflix, the Ephemeral Store opens its doors on June 24, in Paris, for much of the summer.

Strategically located at 44 Champs Elysees, next to the Disney Store, the two-story boutique offers an interactive experience that can accommodate up to 120 people at a time. “We started working two months agoSays Cedric Ross, head of the platform pop-up store. This is a 400mW area that honors the highlights of the series. This applies to everyone, from the old to the new generation, so it was logical to have a crazy address for this event. ”

As soon as they enter, visitors are immersed in the topic of credits. Red neon lighting – similar to the typography of the logo – runs through the walls to bring the most curious to the first setting: the Byers living room. The garlands of colors illuminate the seat, reflecting the identical location of the series. It only takes a few seconds to identify the key elements of different seasons, such as the alphabet painted on the wall (Season 1) or the upright sketches painted by Will that cover the room (Season 2).

The hits of the eighties that reflect this visit take the community back 40 years. Next to the shelves full of period items – the details make everything different – we find the products produced: from a simple coffee cup with images of characters with stuffing, t-shirts and key brackets. For fun, one condition: you have to put your hand in your wallet.

A few meters away reveals a new decor, laboratory cellars with a reactor model. The place depicts the dark and horrible side of the series. Rock and roll shirts like Hellfire Club or Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) are available for sale. For the rest, just take the stairs that lead visitors to part of Starcourt, Hawkins Mall, for the final confrontation scene of Season 3.

In this part of the store, very colorful, you can find Arcade, the favorite place of Willis and his friends for 2 seasons. Video games – such as Pac-Man or Space Invaders – work and are open to the public for free. Near the Demogorgon-shaped mannequins, the machine allows you to arrange certain products.

Rink-o-Mania’s Disco Atmosphere – a roller skating rink seen in Season 4 – is right behind it, with a disco ball and a twenty-slide shelf. Return Eighty More than sure.

This pop-up store has already gained a lot of fans in New York, Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles. This is the first time you shop Stranger Things Baggage is packed in Europe. Netflix has chosen France to try out an experiment that promises great success.
