Abel Ferreira admitted that penalties are not Palmeiras’ strong point. Saying “We’re not good at this” and that his team is “not yet competent enough” to hog the limelight after losing the Brazilian Super Cup to Sao Paulo, the numbers-loving coach finds himself at face some pretty scary problems.
After all, the 4-2 defeat was the Seventh elimination in eight decisions for Alviverde since the Portuguese took command of the team. In fact, of the last ten disputes, Verdão has lost eight.
