In this scene, we see Antoine (Frederick Diefenthal) and Stanislas (Huber Rouleau) drinking coffee together. We quickly learn that this walk around town is not friendly, but professional. While seated at Stanislaus and Antoine’s table, Iris (Julie Dray) peruses the establishment’s wine list. Antoine then suggested they drink together. “You’ll only let me choose! The boss confides in him that it is a very good vintage, which, unfortunately, he sells poorly. Iris then advises him to take it off the menu and offer it as a suggestion only, presenting it as a special item that only insiders know about. The oenologist believes that in this way he will be able to sell it better to his customers.
The boss seems to be tempted by this idea. Antoine, in any case, the demonstration wins. Afterwards, Iris asks the boss to bring them a bottle of this famous wine. “You see, it’s a bit of a wonder. Perfect for a late afternoon in good company.”– he adds to Antoine.
Iris knows several members of the Institute very well!
What the institute’s deputy director still doesn’t know is that the person whose employment is well on its way to rising alarmingly high among the school’s sommelier students is none other than… Mark Leroy’s ex-wife (Stephane Blancafort) and, Accordingly, the mother of Jimmy (Loans Beckmont) and Thibaut (Félix Paco)!
