Wednesday, February 7, tomorrow belongs to us…
The police find Cecil
The day before, Gilles physically assaulted Sylvain, who refused to lend him money for the ransom. Christel manages to separate them, but Sylvain suffers the after-effects. The couple tells Alex about what happened, but he doesn’t notice anything special when Gilles returns home and goes straight to his room. Everyone is surprised by his behavior. Kristel plans to file a lawsuit.
On the other hand, Gilles goes to the police station on his own. He explains to Nordin that he’s losing his temper, then shows Cecil the new photo he took when he left the hospital. He fears that there is not much time left to save him. Nordin follows him to Martin’s office. Meanwhile, Aymeric Jonot, the owner of the blue minibus, was released from police custody as his alibi was confirmed.
The police suspect the kidnapper of discreetly stealing his car. Now they decide to make a mousetrap with the help of Gilles. Martin asks him to go to the meeting with the ransom money to catch the kidnapper. Gilles agrees. In the meantime, he should go home and wait for instructions. As a security measure, Martin wants the team to monitor him 24 hours a day.
Before returning home, Gilles goes to see Sylvain to apologize to her. He informs her that he reported himself to the police and that he sincerely regrets what he did. Sympathizing with what he is going through, Sylvain forgives him. On the other hand, he knows that Krystal will need a little more time.
During the day, Timothée studies the Polaroids taken by Gilles, in which we see Cecile being ripped apart. He points out to Roxanne that the victim is suffering more and more, and the light in the photo is still the same. However, this is not possible in highly variable weather conditions. Zooming in on one of the Polaroids, Roxanne notices that the background is not a window, but a trompe. They manage to find a Swiss artist specializing in these works, then a gallery owner who sells them to a client in the region. Once they have the client’s address, Roxanne and Timothy alert Martin.
The latter immediately goes there with Karim. They are looking for a house that appears to be empty. When they went down to the basement, they found Cecil, gagged and tied to a chair. Weakened, she loses herself in Karim’s arms, and Martin asks for help…
Diego tries to flirt with Camille
Before going to high school, Modi asks Camille if she can borrow one of his coats. He immediately realizes that he wants to get Diego’s attention. She then advises her sister to wear a skirt.
In high school, Diego meets Maud and thanks her for the book she borrowed because he’s really hooked and can’t stop reading. While Maud tries to talk him out of it, Diego systematically turns the conversation back to Camille.
At the spoon, Camille serves Bruno a beer, even though he asked for coffee. To be nice, Bruno gets the beer, but Nathan is there to keep an eye on everything and set things up. He warns Camille that her father is an alcoholic. He apologizes for the inconvenience.
A little later Bruno comes to the counter to pay for the drink. He talks to Camille a bit about their past in prison. Once Bruno is gone, Camille walks over to the table where Diego just sat down to continue reading the book that Maud lent her. He asks a young girl to see if she accepts him as a waitress. While Diego tries the approach technique, Camille keeps turning the conversation back to Maude.
Back at home, Camille tells Maude that Diego loves her book. Maude believes that he only thinks of her as a friend, while Camille thinks that she really likes him.
Damien is far from Charles
At the high school, Violet reveals to Jack and Ryan that her brother Charles has returned to Seth. After having dinner with him the day before, she admits that he is very cool. Lilu joins the conversation and tries to find out if she is single.
Meanwhile, Filipina walks with Charles in the vineyards of the wine estate. He reassures his mother about his hotel, which shows almost no signs of fire. Thanks to the insurance money, he hired staff, which allowed him to stay on set longer and enjoy Violet – whom he continues to call Alice. Although he gets on very well with her, Charles points out that Damien is more difficult to deal with. Filippini explains to her bodyguard that she always felt responsible for Violet’s disappearance.
At the police station, Damien confides in Sarah about his feelings for Charles. He admits that his return brings many things, especially his sense of inferiority to the complicity that exists between the Philippines and Charles. However, Sarah points out to Damien that having Charles back will allow their family to start over and above all help Violet get her life back on track.
In the evening, Violet has dinner with Philippin and Charles. He shows her photos of a hotel in Corfu and assures her that she can stay there whenever she wants. Charles then asks his mother and sister to take a selfie. Violet sends the photo to Damien.
The latter stayed at home because he didn’t want to have dinner with his brother two nights in a row. Audrey notices that Violet sent her a photo and thinks that Damien should reply to her because he would love to have her there too.
