A Better Life Preview: What’s in store for Monday 12 February 2024 Episode 26 [SPOILERS]

Monday February 12 A more beautiful life, even more beautiful

Luna steps forward

Luna has a meeting with Leah to talk about menopause. While he is waiting in the waiting room, Yolande calls out to him and says loudly: “Myrta told me everything, congratulations!”. Luna replies that if she’s having a hard time accepting this transition, it’s because of the ads promoting the beauty of young women.

Yolande explains to her that in Native American countries menopause is seen as a second birth. He adds: “Every age has its beauty, every age has its strength, and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.”

After examining Luna, Leah orders in-depth tests (blood work and bone densitometry) to discuss further treatment for the hot flash. He also advises her to play sports and avoid stress to stimulate endorphins.

Killian is heartbroken

At Bar Mistral, Thomas and Aya discover the balloons they ordered in Valentine’s Day colors. While they both seem excited about this delivery, Killian isn’t so excited. He said to his half-brother: “You know I’m a little heartbroken about it, it’s not my type”. Aya wonders what the young man is hiding.

A few minutes later, she suggests to Killian that they throw an original party, open to couples and singles. The idea would be to put the names of the guests on a piece of paper, draw couples and then spend some time together. Killian seems intrigued by the concept, but he declines the party.

Excited about her idea, Aya goes to Massalia’s residence to inform the students that the party will be held at Le Mistral. Nisma suggests that Steve invite the person who makes his heart beat faster, but he doesn’t understand the meaning and replies that it’s an opportunity to meet new people. Aya witnesses the scene and feels guilty for causing this tension between the two students.

At the bar at Le Mistral, he tells his colleagues what just happened. Killian now thinks that this party is not a good idea because it could destroy the couples. For him, meeting people is synonymous with romantic separation.

Aya asks Thomas why Killian is wearing a wedding ring. He replies that Killian married Betty a year ago. The newlyweds traveled the world for their honeymoon, but Killian returned a few months ago…without his wife. And for good reason, Betty abandoned him when they were in Canada, and since then, there has been no news.

Ariane leads the investigation

On the day after the inauguration of Mrs. Kepler’s necklace, Ariane is lost in thought. Suddenly, he asks Jean-Paul what he thinks if he taps his index finger on the forearm. The latter replies that it is Morse code and more specifically a cry for help.

A few minutes later, Ariane compares the surveillance video with the list of people who attended the evening. Meilin asks what he’s looking for, but Ariane refuses to say more. The commissioner asks him to let him go, but Ariane continues the investigation regardless.

Later that day, Ariane informs Eric about Zoë’s intriguing behavior during the inauguration party. His best friend is convinced that this is a signal. Ariane asks him to continue investigating his daughter.

Meanwhile, Zoe and her accomplice discover that the necklace’s window has been booked. The latter is angry because the teenager was spotted by the police using Morse code. He asks her to approach Leah because she is the one holding the second key that allows you to open the window. He asks Zoe to act when the key is in his possession.

A few minutes later, Zoë is sitting on the terrace of Bar Le Mistral, very close to Jean-Paul and Thomas. She offers to babysit her kids so she can spend her Valentine’s Day. He takes it with great pleasure.

When Ariane comes home from work, he surprises Zoe with a text message. He asks if he has any friends, and the teenager replies that he doesn’t. Ariane is surprised and wants to know who Zoe was texting. The teenager replies that he was commenting on a video on Instagram. Ariane takes advantage of her daughter’s brief absence and looks at her phone. But what he doesn’t know is that Zoe is watching him.
