The Fenabrave partial on the Carnival weekend shows the Fiat Argo ahead of rivals VW Polo, Hyundai HB20 and Chevrolet Onix
The Fiat Argo surprised the market in the first ten days of February and became the best-selling car during the Carnival weekend. The numbers are official from Fenabrave and indicate 2,023 Argo plates.
First place overall goes, as always, to Fiat Strada. The Fiat pick-up – which could have an electric version in the future – is in the lead with 2,492 registrations.
The question for the sequence of the month is whether the Argo is experiencing a special moment or if Fiat has decided to bet on its sedan to compete on the market with the trio that has dominated the category for years: Volkswagen Polo, Hyundai HB20 and Chevrolet Onix.

The Polo is in 3rd place with 1,946, the HB20 in 4th with 1,830 and the Onix closes the Top 5 of the first part of February with 1,722 sales, in 5th place.
In recent times, Volkswagen, Chevrolet and Hyundai have made a lot of publicity when they occupy the position of best-selling passenger car, slightly overshadowing the victory of Fiat Strada in the overall ranking. It is possible that Fiat now wants to win both titles, with the Strada and the Argo.
If this is confirmed, it would be good news for consumers, as the chances of these cars having price promotions would increase, making them more affordable. In 2023, Fiat’s flagship sedan was the Mobi, a small car.
