On June 17, the detective thriller Anatomy of a Murder was released in Russian online cinemas, which premiered at the Busan International Film Festival. Olga plays a medical examiner who travels to Seoul for a scientific conference, but gets caught up in a murder investigation linked to an organ-trafficking syndicate. To help the local detective, she will have to overcome her fears. Time is running out, and the list of victims is about to replenish. Here are five more films with Olga, in each of which she is completely different.

Olga in the film “Anatomy of a Murder”

“Oblivion” (2013)

Fiction. Jack Harper (Tom Cruise) is one of the few people now living on Earth, destroyed after the war with aliens. He is part of a massive operation to extract vital resources from the planet, but the mission is jeopardized when Jack rescues a beautiful stranger from a downed spaceship. Her appearance sets off a chain of events that will cause Jack to question everything he knows.

Film stars such as Noomi Rapace, Olivia Wilde, Kate Mara and Mary Elizabeth Whitstead auditioned for the role of the “beautiful stranger”, but in the end, the casting director of the film chose Olga. The film was directed by Joseph Kosinski (now everyone is waiting for his new film “Top Gun: Maverick”).

“Paris I Love You” (2007)

Melodrama. Eminent directors such as Olivier Assayas, Gus Van Sant, Wes Craven and Alfonso Cuaron contributed to this collection of 18 (!) stories. Among the bright characters of the picture are a vampire (Olga Kurylenko), who fell in love with a man; a couple of mimes; a husband trying to make a choice between his wife and his mistress; and a married man who turns to a prostitute for advice. The cast, including Kurylenko, are all world stars: Natalie Portman, Elijah Wood, Willem Dafoe, Gerard Depardieu and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Olga Kurylenko in her story performs in tandem with Elijah Wood. Interestingly, it was this role that made Olga famous all over the world.

“Seven Psychopaths” (2012)

This film managed to combine not only action and thriller, but also black comedy. An aspiring screenwriter (Colin Farrell) is inadvertently drawn into the Los Angeles underworld after his eccentric friends (Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken) kidnap a gangster’s (Woody Harrelson) pet dog.

The film was directed by Martin McDonagh, best known for his films “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” and “Low Down in Bruges.” Olga Kurylenko played Angela in the film, the girl of the protagonist.

“Black Widow” (2021)

Fantastic fighter. Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson), also known as the Black Widow, faces the dark side of her past. A conspiracy involving her and her loved ones is revealed, and Natasha is once again forced to save the world.

The film starred Florence Pugh, David Harbor, Rachel Weisz and many other famous actors. But no one expected to see Olga Kurylenko. Her appearance in the film came as a surprise to viewers who watched the film for the first time. This time, the actress had the opportunity to go over to the side of evil and get used to the role of Taskmaster, who is capable of killing anyone who dares to stand in her way in a combat battle. And Olga used this opportunity to the maximum.

“Wish Room” (2019)

Mystical thriller. Loving young couple Kate (Olga Kurylenko) and Matt (Kevin Janssens) move into a secluded mansion, where they discover a strange secret room with the mysterious power to grant wishes. Millions of dollars, original Van Gogh paintings and the most luxurious outfits – whatever they want, materializes instantly. One day, Kate decides to ask the room to give her a baby. But the initial happiness of the spouses from this blessing leads to unimaginable consequences. As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for.

At the Bucheon Film Festival (South Korea), the film was awarded the main award – in the category “Best Film”.
