HE’S AN NFL CHAMPION! The Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday evening (11), in the final of Super Bowl LVIII of the 2023/2024 season. From the 25th to the 22nd, the Chiefs were crowned champions at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The game went into overtime, something that hadn’t happened since Super Bowl 51, and in the final seconds, a touchdown guaranteed the team’s fourth title and second consecutive.
Game highlights for Harrison Buttker who manned the Chiefs’ field goals, one of which was 57 yards and became the longest kick in Super Bowl history. In addition, of course, to the two stars of both teams, Mahomes of Kansas City, and Brock Purdy, of the 49ers.
THE GAME
The game begins quite eventfully, with both teams looking for a touchdown. In the first quarter San Francisco performed better, passing for 48 yards early and with three downs. Midway through the first quarter, the Chiefs began to improve their scoring and intercept plays. He increased his rushing yards to 16 and made the first down, with the help of his star Patrick Mahomes. Finally, Brock Purdy tried a beautiful long ball, but his teammates couldn’t keep up, so the first quarter ended 0-0.
San Francisco started the second quarter by scoring a touchdown and opening a 3-point lead thanks to good play by Jake Moody. The 49ers defense was very good, intercepting all of the Chiefs’ dangerous plays. Jauan Jennings made a wonderful throw to Christian McCaffrey, who caught the ball and ran, with no one stopping him, scored a beautiful touchdown for San Francisco and took a 10-point lead into the second quarter. Ultimately, Chiefs managed to cut the lead with Harrison Buttker hitting a field goal from the 28-yard line. The first half ends 10-3 for the 49ers.

HALF SHOW
The show featured Usher partying during halftime of the match. During the presentation there were some particular appearances. Usher sang the hit My Boo with Alicia Keys. Ludacris with Yeah and many of the singer’s other hits over the years have been sung at Allegiant Stadium. Also present on site: Justin Bieber, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Sir Paul McCartney, Leonardo DiCaprio, to attend the show and the Super Bowl final.

SECOND TIME
The third quarter began with San Francisco’s interception of Patrick Mahomes, a play that was widely celebrated by the team. The Chiefs had a lot of trouble completing plays. The 49ers made a tackle at the 15-yard line to leave their opponent in a tough spot. With five minutes left in the third quarter, Harrison Buttker made another field goal, this time from 57 yards for the Chiefs, who within six points. The kick even became the longest field goal in Super Bowl history. Finally, after a fumble by the 49ers, the Chiefs took the lead with Marcus Valdez Kantling free in the end zone. The turning point came, 13×10 in the third quarter.
Early in the fourth quarter, San Francisco managed to score a touchdown, taking a 16-13 lead. But the Chiefs didn’t give up and gave their all. With Mahomes and Isaiah Pacheco, the team went to the end zone, trying to overturn the result. And again he, Harrison Buttker, tied the game with a 24-yard field goal, 16×16, towards the final minutes. And on another field goal, from 53 yards, the 49ers took the lead on a Jake Moody kick, 19×16. In the final seconds, the Chiefs tied the game with a 29-yard, 19×19 field goal and sent the game into overtime.

EXTENSION
It started back and forth, teams competing for every play, every yard gained. San Francisco, with seven minutes left, takes the lead with a 27-yard field goal, 22×19. The Chiefs were trying to get back on their feet offensively. And in the final seconds, touchdown! 25-22 at the end. Chiefs champion, two-time champion and fourth NFL title.

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens in the conference final and reached the Super Bowl final. He reached the final with a championship of 14 wins and 6 losses. They won in 1970, 2020, 2022 and 2023/2024.
