Un Si Grand Soleil preview: Tuesday February 13, 2024 episode recap [SPOILERS]

Helen protects Alix

Lauryn and Roman spent the night together. Particularly interested in the young man, Lorin imagines that he is an undercover journalist at the hospital. If the latter is having fun, he particularly appreciates the opportunity to ask him about Helen. So Lorin tells him that the latter is suffering from amnesia, before specifying that his memory can come back at any time.

In turn, Ian goes to the hospital to question Helen about the fake definodes. Obviously, this covers for Alix by pretending not to understand anything about the story.

As the policeman leaves, Florent urges Elena to tell the truth to the investigators. Even though she claims that she never knew about the scam, Florent gets the impression that Helen is not playing fair with him and says that it will be very difficult for him to protect her.

Not far from there, Roman goes to the gallery and meets Alix. As he enters his office, he takes the opportunity to place the microphone under the desk.

Claire urges Helen to tell Florent the truth. Unfortunately, he can’t. After making her promise to keep it a secret, Helen admits that the definodes are fake. He then asks her to go see Alix to warn her that the police are on the way, but first of all to tell her that she won’t report him. Indeed, Helen will soon be charged with Christian’s murder, and is not going to take her friend.

At the police station, Ian, Eliza, and Commissioner Becker review the investigation, and suffice it to say, the Commissioner is not going to let Alix go.

Elodi and Ludo lead the investigation

Elodie takes the opportunity to drop William off at the hospital to question Dr. Cresson about the Fertilizer Plus brand. The latter then explains to him that there is an increase in cancer cases among the farmers in the department who use or used to use their products. Elodie quickly realizes that Brandi is responsible for her father’s illness.

On the way back, Elodi and William meet Ludo and a young woman informs him that many farmers in the area are suffering from cancer due to Fertilizer Plus products. To make sure this is known, Ludo suggests taking collective action with the help of his association.

Without waiting, Ludo calls Claudine and tells the whole story. Although there is not enough evidence to charge Fertilizer Plus, Ludo wants to investigate using the association’s resources. That is why he wants to know if she is ready to support him in the fight. As the lawyer agrees to support him legally, Ludo decides to contact Midi Libre and inform them of the situation.

Afterwards, Claudine meets Johanna and talks to her about the Fertilizer Plus case. Indeed, the lawyer wants the firm BGL to take care of the case. At risk of having the agri-food lobby on her back, Johanna wonders if the game is really worth the effort. According to Claudine, they have a chance to stop the disaster, compensate the victims, but above all, give a good image to the firm.

In turn, Ludo and Elodie give an interview to Midi Libre and warn the journalist about the dangers of Fertilizer Plus pesticides. After hearing them out, Mark agrees to help them attack this major economic player in the region.

Mark then calls Evans and explains that he is writing an article on the link between the use of Engrais Plus phytosanitary products and cancer among farmers in the region. If the doctor agrees to send him the ARS file, he specifically requests that his name not be mentioned in the paper.

At the same time, Ludo asks Bilal to help him analyze the products of Engrais Plus. As he is not prepared for this, he refers him to a specialist chemist in the field.
