There is a reinforcement arriving at Atletico Paranaense. After all, this Wednesday Furacão announced the purchase of midfielder Felipinho, a former Ponte Preta player. The 22-year-old athlete arrived in Curitiba last week and is already training with his other teammates.
“I have always dreamed of being in a gigantic club like Atletico. I come here for everything the club represents, for everything it has done in football. My feeling is one of great joy. It is an achievement in my life. Working alongside great professionals and great players, like Fernandinho, is something that will add a lot to my life,” Felipinho told Atletico’s website.
The midfielder has signed a four-year contract with Furacão, until the end of 2027. His debut, however, has not yet been confirmed, as Felipinho’s name did not appear in the Daily Newsletter (BID) of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) . ).
So far, in addition to Felipinho, Furacão has announced six other reinforcements for 2024: Leo Godoy, Mateo Gamarra, Romeo Benítez, Petterson, Gonzalo Mastriani and Lucas Di Yorio. Manager Juan Carlos Osório is also new to Atletico this season. It is worth remembering, however, that the transfer window will remain open until March 7th.
