With 205 episodes and three TV movies, if you count Thanksgiving, Little House on the Prairie is the flagship series of American television, with ten years of existence (1974 – 1984) and just as many twists, dramas, love and tenderness. Laura (Melissa Gilbert)
I want the youngest in the Ingal family! Laura Ingalls is undoubtedly one of the most memorable characters in the series with her big heart, understanding and concern for others. She is played by Melissa Gilbert, who we saw again in New Orleans Law and who voiced Barbara Gordon in Batman series 92. For the record, he is still very good friends with Alison Arngrim, who played the pest Nellie Oleson in the movie. Little House on the Prairie.
Carrie (Rachel Lindsay and Sidney Greenbush)
Remember, he was the one who fell into the grass during the series credits! Baby Carrie was the youngest in the family for a long time until Grace was born (see below) and will become very close to Cassandra and James (also see below). It was played by twins Lindsay and Sidney Greenbush so they could shoot longer. Lindsey became a horse trainer in Greenbush, and her sister Sydney competes in professional rodeos.
Grace (Wendy and Brenda Turnbaugh)
Grace Ingalls is the fourth biological daughter of the Ingalls couple. He was alternately played by twins Wendy (see opposite) and Brenda Turnbaugh. A rather detached character born in episode 20 of season 4, we discovered at the beginning of season 5 that he was played by two young actors. After the series, Brenda became a history teacher and Wendy became a web designer.
Albert Quinn / Ingalls (Matthew LaBiorto)
An abandoned child, he lived on the streets until he came across Laura Ingalls and decided to help. Welcomed to the family farm, then adopted, Charles sees in him the son he never had (because he died at only 10 months old). Albert will face great difficulties and a tragic fate. His translator Matthew LaBiorto is now mainly involved in dubbing and has also appeared in the TV series Little Geniuses, Fun Cruise or Roads to Paradise.
Cassandra Cooper / Ingalls (Melissa Francis)
The third Melissa in the cast of the Ingalls children, Melissa Francis portrayed Cassandra Cooper, who was orphaned in a trolley accident and adopted by the Ingalls family. James Cooper / Ingalls (Jason Bateman)

Mary (Melissa Sue Anderson)
