My favorite evil is one of the most critically and fan-acclaimed franchises, and when released, it was considered a major entry into the animation market. Minions 2: Origin of Gru (2022), which serves as a prequel to the franchise, will show how the yellow sidekicks crossed paths with Gru.

Minions 2: Debut
the launch of Minions 2: Origin of Gru will take place on June 30, 2022. Ticket pre-sale is available in Brazilian cinemas.
Minions 2: What will the story be?
Set in the 1970s, the story will show how Gru managed to become the great master of evil after crossing the path of the minions and form an unusual family. When the infamous super-villain Vicious 6 evicts their leader – legendary martial arts fighter Wild Knuckles (Oscar winner Alan Arkin) – their most devoted fan, Grudecides to do an interview to fill the vacancy (even if he is only 12 years old).

The original voice cast of Steve Carell (Gru), Pierre Coffin (Minion Stuart), Taraji P. Henson (Belle Bottom), Alan Arkin (wild knuckles), Jean-Claude Van Damme (JeanClawed), Lucy Lawless (Nunchuk), Dolph Lundgren (Svengeance), Danny Trejo (stronghold), Russell Brand (Dr Nefario), Michelle Yeoh (Master Chow) and Julie Andrews (Gru’s mother).
In the national dubbing, Leandro Hassun voices the 12-year-old villain, Gru.
Minions 2: Team
The film is directed by Kyle Baldaresponsible for managing Despicable Me 3 (2017) and the first film of the minions (2015), co-directed by Brad Ableson (The Simpsons) and Jonathan del Val (Pets – The Secret Life of Pets).
The script is from Matthew Fogel, five paul and Brian Lynch. Production is carried out by the founder and CEO of Illumination Studios, Chris Meledandriand its longtime collaborators, Janet Healy and Chris Renaud.
