Fans will remember ending of the Avengers ends with Captain America traveling back in time to return all the Infinity Stones and live a full life with Peggy Carter, but the point of contention between the Russos and the writers is on the timeline in which Steve Rogers spent his time. .
In the version of Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely ending of the AvengersEventually, Captain America travels back in time to the pre-existing timeline and lives his life with Peggy while her past coexists and remains frozen at the North Pole (until she wakes up to fight the Avengers). Joe and Anthony Russo have a different take on Captain America’s time travel. With Loki making all sorts of changes to our perception of timelines in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Doctor Strange meddling with alternate dimensions in Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madnessall the talk about Canon right now is pretty crazy, not to mention the simple question of what happened to Captain America at the end of ending of the Avengers. We’ll have to wait and see where all of this ends up as Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige continues to execute his grand council plan.
