Lorin agrees to help Romain

At the gallery, Alix forces Ulysses to listen to a message from Mr. LeBlanc, who claims he was forced to hand over his paintings to the police. So I wish him success in the future. If Ulysses panics at the thought of the investigators returning to them, Alix seems quite calm. In fact, it will take several days before the painting can be appraised, giving them plenty of time to find Christian’s hidden money.

However, Ulises does not believe him and plans to go to the police. An option that Alix categorically refuses. He would rather leave Montpellier than be behind bars. In addition, he contacted Virgil and the latter could receive them. So they have to find money to escape the city as fast as possible.

Meanwhile, Lorin confides in Boris that she didn’t appreciate Romain’s blackmail. Although she cares for him, the young woman is well aware that he is using her to get an interview with Helen. So Boris advises her to do what he asks if she wants to keep him.

In turn, Ulysses informs Bilal that Alix refuses to go to the police and that she is seriously considering joining Virgil to escape from prison. When Bilal wonders what is happening to him in this story, Ulysses offers to come to them. A hypothesis that the chemist clearly rejects. Convinced that there is another way out, he even offers to talk to Elysee about it, but Ulysses doesn’t want to betray Alix.

At the hospital, psychologist Oreli Soveuri talked to Ellen Dambrvili. He then tells Dr. Lewis and Commissioner Becker that he is psychologically fragile. Indeed, Helen has severe depressive symptoms with suicidal tendencies. Therefore, he believes that it is premature to transfer him to a pre-trial detention center and instead recommends continued hospitalization. With Commissioner Becker understaffed for his security system, Orrell develops a treatment protocol with the prison psychologist so Helen can continue treatment. Becker gives him 48 hours.

Not far from there, Roman tells Lorin that he is leaving for Manila tomorrow for his next article. When she suggests they spend the evening together before she leaves, Romain feels he should pack his suitcase. A hard blow for Lauryn.

In the evening, Lorin still joins Romain at the hotel. Since he doesn’t want her to leave, the young woman, who seems to be in love for the first time, specifies that she will help him into Helen’s room so that she can interview him. After smiling, Romain kisses him passionately.

William files a complaint against Fertilizer Plus

In the morning, William and Claudine go to the police station to file a complaint against the Engrais Plus company for endangering the lives of others and poisoning them. Maître Becker also gives Lt. Levy Dr. Cresson’s analysis, which describes the abnormally high rate of farmers in the region who have reported cancer. And all of them were in contact with Fertilizer Plus brand pesticides. The lawyer also states that he met with a chemist who worked with the company and who found a very high content of glyphosate in the chemical components of their products. As she can testify, Claudine gives the police her contact details.

Given the seriousness of the allegations, Alex explains to William that Fertilizer Plus can sue him for defamation, but the farmer doesn’t care. Therefore, Alex adds that he will submit the complaint to the prosecutor’s office, which will decide what will happen next.

A short while later, Alex calls Evan and gathers his testimony on the Fertilizer Plus case. The doctor explains that there is likely a causal link between the long-term exposure of these farmers to this company’s pesticides and the development of certain cancers. He also states that the incidence of cancer among Hero farmers is 30% higher than other departments. And most of them used this company’s products. If their research confirms their suspicions, Fertilizer Plus will be responsible and save lives.

At the BGL office, Claudine and Ludo inform Mark Moore that William has filed a complaint. Ludo then indicates that the association will file a civil suit as soon as the prosecutor’s office opens the proceedings. Now that the complaint has been filed, Mark will contact Fertilizer Plus managers to get them to vote, but Claudine is sure she won’t get anything.

At the end of the day, Elodi goes to her neighbor’s house for dinner and meets Bilal and Elisa. And suffice it to say, the flow is going pretty well between the two women. They even discovered a common passion for horses. Elodie suggests coming to the farm one day to show horses.
