Everyone But You becomes the greatest Shakespeare adaptation

Worldwide success, Everyone except youromantic comedy with Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria) and Glen Powell (Top Gun: nonconformist), became the largest live-action adaptation of a William Shakespeare play. With almost 200 million dollars raised, the film is a reinterpretation of of the English poet.

According to the synopsis, Everyone except you follows Bea and Ben, two old college friends who are forced to get along when they receive an invitation to a mutual friend’s wedding. However, when they discover that their respective ex-boyfriends are also participating in the ceremony, the two decide to pretend to be a couple.

The two understand each other, but start seeing each other often to make the story more real, until they find themselves dealing with something new and completely separate from the agreement: they fall in love!

However, it is worth underlining of Shakespeare, the record still stands The Lion King (2019), film entirely made in (computer animation), with over $1.6 billion — Everyone except you stood out as an adaptation in the live-action category, a production made with real actors.
