Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Wednesday, February 21, 2024 [SPOILERS]

The novel takes action

Lauryn and Roman spend the night together and everyone is happy that they got what they wanted. He has access to Helen’s room and she stays in Montpellier.

At the hospital, Janet informs Elena that tomorrow she will be transferred to the prosecutor’s office. He also says he’s sorry he couldn’t take the extra time to refine his treatment with a psychiatrist. However, Elena feels relieved. He is sure that it is dangerous, he believes that his place is in prison and he will not harm anyone there. She then thanks Claire and Janet for being there for her and supporting her no matter what.

As night falls, Lauryn approaches Helen’s room and suggests that Thierry eat an extra meal for the employees in the break room. Although unable to resign, the policeman finally allows himself to be convinced.

So Roman uses the opportunity to enter Elena’s room. As he is about to inject the product into the IV, Ellen wakes up and asks what is going on. Romain then explains that he’s just checking her IV and then asks her not to worry.

Elena immediately goes back to sleep, remembers the night of the tragedy. Christian was holding him at gunpoint when Romain came up from behind and put the gun to the art dealer’s neck. Christian turned to fire, but Romain was faster. Christian fell to the ground wounded by a shot.

Roman then took Christian’s gun and then interrogated Elena to find out where the money was. Paralyzed and in tears, he replied that he did not know. After that, Roman shot him.

When Elena wakes up, she immediately realizes that the man she sees applying the product to her is the one who tried to kill her…

Fertilizer Plus counter attack

Eliseba is waiting for Ludo with her roommate. Indeed, the young man noticed that he liked Elodi. If he admits that he thinks she is beautiful, the policeman still explains that he is not ready for the news at all.

Meanwhile, William is stressed about starting chemotherapy. It must be said that the farmer is afraid of pain, fatigue and above all, not being able to work anymore. So Elodie reminds him that she runs the farm with Ludo during his treatment.

Then William goes to the hospital. At the scene, Dr. Cresson announced that he wanted to be there to support her through her first chemo session. When William thanks him for helping with the complaint by reporting his analysis, the doctor replies that he was just doing his job.

For his part, Prosecutor Bernier was particularly upset about the calls he received from journalists at the prosecutor’s office to get an opinion on William’s complaint, which he did not even know existed. In his defense, Commissioner Becker explains to him that he was outdone by the press. In fact, the police officer wanted to verify the elements mentioned in the case before informing him. If he thinks this case is serious, the prosecutor clearly doesn’t. Despite everything, the commissioner promises to send him all the items within an hour so he can see for himself that it’s solid.

Later, Prosecutor Bernier received Mr. Bienvenu, director of Engrais Plus, in his office. The latter seem to know each other well because they talk informally. However, Mr. Bienvenu is not here to be polite, but to discuss an article published in Le Midi Libre. Bernier therefore informs him that he has received the elements of the complaint and assures him that there is no cause for alarm. For his part, Mr. Bienvenu maintains that the allegations against his company are baseless and defamatory. Moreover, the research conducted by Dr. Cresson has no scientific basis. Dozens of people even say the opposite.

Not far from there, Maitre Levars, Mr. Bienvenu’s lawyer, calls Hervé Chanteaus to tell him that his client plans to file a lawsuit against him for defamation and breach of confidentiality clause. Warned by Claudine that this might happen, the chemist replies that he is not going to go back on his word. Indeed, Hervé says he is happy that everyone is finally aware that Fertilizer Plus makes dangerous products. Serge then offers to find a deal, but Hervé sends him away.

Afterward, Serge contacted Dr. Cresson and told him that the company was going to attack him for defamation and falsification of scientific results. In turn, the doctor sends him.
