It’s no news that actor Wagner Moura has a place in Hollywood productions. Once again the Brazilian will be the protagonist of an American feature film. A24 has just released a very intense trailer for its next film, Civil War, which stars Moura in the cast, along with actress Kirsten Dunst.
Wagner Moura will play a central role in the plot, which tells the story of a dystopian future in the United States, where 19 states have seceded from the country, causing an internal conflict between the rebellious states and the American military contingent federal government.
The film is directed by Alex Garland, a director already known for works such as Ex Machine (2014) e Annihilation (2018). Studio A24 has also had many notable productions in recent years, including Hereditary (2018), Moonlight (2016) e Everything everywhere at the same time (2022).
Wagner Moura’s international CV continues to grow
The film is another of the foreign productions in which the famous Brazilian actor is involved, something that has become common in his career.
Civil warwhich debuts in theaters on April 12, also features names like Cailee Spaeny, Jesse Plemons and Nick Offerman.
