Millionaires Before the End of the World: This is the next Netflix series from the creators of La Casa de Papel

Spanish series continue to grow on Netflix, and the number of Spanish-language original creations has increased over the years. Alex Pina is one of the biggest contributors.

The showrunner who owns it, most notably Sky Rojo, La Casa de Papel and its spin-off Berlin, which has already been renewed for a second season, is already working on its new series.

Indeed, we are learning thanks Cineuropa that Alex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato, with whom he imagined three of his greatest hits, created and wrote a new fiction called El refugio atomico, which can be translated as “the atomic refuge” or “the atomic refuge”.

Shooting from February 5, this new series follows the complex survival of a group of multi-millionaires who take refuge in a luxurious bunker called Kimera Underground Park as World War III begins.

Produced by Vancouver Media and set to air exclusively on Netflix, El refugio atómico is an eight-episode one-hour series written by Alex Pina, Esther Martínez Lobato, David Barocalli, David Oliva, Lorena G. By Maldonado and Humberto Ortega.

What casting for a new series from the creator of La Casa de Papel?

Asylum residents will be played by Mirren Ybarguren (Phenomena, Everybody Lies), Joaquin Furiel (Blood Tree, Intuition), Natalia Verbeke (Women on the 6th Floor, Everybody Lies), Carlos Santos (Something’s Wrong with the Children). , The Man With a Thousand Faces) and Montse Guallar (If You Hadn’t Met You, The Body).
