With Samuel, who recently returned in the plot of Tomorrow Belongs to Us, being the target of Victoire’s ex’s gruesome revenge, could there be another member of the Chardeaux clan in Renaud’s (Pierre Danes) life?
Currently in the mini-series All You Give France 2, starring David Camenos, Bruno Solo, Louise Mono and Melanie Maudran (Un Si Grand Soleil), actress Nicole Calfan joins the adventure Demain nous. February 2021 Time for a special arch dedicated to Renault’s past.
Then the actress lent her features to Lydia Chardot, who disappeared from circulation after a divorce with Reno, when Samuel was still very young. An absent mother who finally returns to Seth to find her son, whom she hasn’t seen in nearly thirty years. Unraveling deeply buried family secrets that will turn Samuel and Reno’s lives upside down.
It seems that the return of Liddy Chardeau is not on the agenda
Like Bruno Madinieri, Catherine Jacob or Victoria Abril, who played the role of Rafael’s mother in the fall of 2021, Nicole Calfan is one of the featured guests in the series Tomorrow belongs to us, which has been broadcast daily on TF1 since the summer of 2017.
When asked by TelePoche about the possibility of reprising her role in the series led by Ingrid Chauvin and Alexandre Brasserie, Nicole Calfan was not so optimistic. “I don’t think they put me in a shelter and I think they forgot about me a bit”he stated, hinting at the fate in store for his character at the end of the story, who descended into insanity before being interned.
And if the actor tries to hide his disappointment, it’s simply because he loved the experience on the set: “These eleven episodes have been a great experience, we’ve been working like crazy!”.
Words that echo what the actor said on the Chez Jordan show almost a year ago: “I loved playing it! I turned it down twice, but now I’ve been cast in such an incredible role that you’d be wrong. What a great job I did!”.
If Axel Keener had stayed on Tomorrow Belongs to Us, Nicole Calfan would no doubt have loved playing Liddy for a new storyline. And this even if the actor admits that the pace of shooting such a series is very intense: “The pace is hellish (…) I shot with eight different directors in three weeks, there are three sets (…) we work like crazy, we have coaches on the phone or coaches who follow you to the toilet by text.”.
However, fans of Nicole Calfan can take solace in finding him in the shoes of Cécile Fabre de Castelmore, a Machiavellian marquis and clan leader willing to do anything to achieve his goals, in the saga of What I Give You, France. 2 will air the final two episodes this Wednesday.
