As previously announced, the Reagan family’s legal adventures will come to an end in 2024 at the end of Blue Bloods season 14. But today, one of the actors of the American series is taking a stand on social networks to – maybe – be able to extend the police show!
Donnie Wahlberg Wants To Save ‘Blue Bloods’
So Donnie Wahlberg picked up the phone to join a fan-started campaign to save fiction at X. Thanks to a discreet hashtag that says it all, anyone falling in Danny’s shoes is expressing their desire to see a Blue Bloods sequel.
After the shoot, the actor posted a photo of the cast gathered as they prepare to film a dinner scene for the Reagan clan. In the caption, Donnie Wahlberg comments: “In the middle of dinner!“, followed by two emojis representing hearts, then the hashtag #SaveBlueBloods, which in French translates to “Blue blood survival“.

But that’s not all, because a few days later he posted another message, this time as a thank you, addressed directly to the community: “I am totally shocked! Your love, passion and kindness are indescribable! Thanks to everyone who watched Blue Bloods and everyone who kindly tweeted #SaveBlueBloods“
Thank you so much for an amazing Friday night!
I am in complete shock! Your love, passion and understanding are beyond words! Thanks to everyone who watched #BlueBloods And to everyone who has graciously tweeted #SaveBlueBloods! ❤️💙

Will the star’s support for the show’s loyalist movement make CBS reconsider its decision? Unfortunately, nothing is less certain… However, Tom Selleck (who plays patriarch Frank) also recently quietly expressed his disappointment over Blue Bloods being canceled.
“We have no shortage of ideas,” says Tom Selleck
In an interview with our colleagues TV InsiderThe former Magnum singer said:CBS is going to see a lot of people who aren’t ready to say goodbye to the show. It’s more popular than ever and I think our audience will grow this year. Besides, we have no shortage of ideas.”
So will the hashtag #SaveBlueBloods and investment in the distribution of fiction work wonders? To be continued… Blue Bloods season 14, in any case, began on February 16 across the Atlantic. Initially, ten episodes will be broadcast, and then there will be a break. The final eight episodes will be offered next fall.
