After a scoring start to the year, Raphael Veiga is preparing to return to Palmeiras

The midfielder started 2024 brightly, but did not play in the last three matches due to an eye infection

Palmeiras will have to count on the return of midfielder Raphael Veiga to face Mirassol this Saturday at the Arena Barueri in a match valid for the 10th round of the Paulistão 2024.

Palmeiras’ second top scorer this year, with four goals, Veiga returns to Verdão after missing Abel Ferreira’s team in the last three rounds of the State Championship, due to an eye infection.

With 86 goals for Palmeiras and 98 in his career, Veiga is two goals away from reaching his 100th goal as a player and equaling Dudu as Palmeiras’ top scorer in the 21st century, with 88.

This will be the first match in which Raphael Veiga will count on Endrick, as the 17-year-old gem returned to Palmeiras last week and has already scored his first goal of 2024 for Verdão.

The ball rolls for Palmeiras x Mirassol this Saturday (24th), starting at 6pm (Brasilia time), at Arena Barueri and the match will be broadcast on Cazé TV (Youtube).
