The live-action adaptation of the animation, which shaped many people’s childhoods, finally debuted on Netflix on Wednesday (22nd). As is common, some series on the streaming service contain a post-credits scene. Is this the case with Avatar: The Last Airbender?
After all, does Avatar have a post-credits scene?
The answer is no! Avatar: The Last Airbender does not have a post-credits scene, but rather a part at the end of the eighth episode that can be considered one.
At the end of the eighth episode, the leader of the temple, Avatar Roku, is informed by Fire Lord Ozai that science shows that Comet Sozin is close to making its way through the Earth. While the comet itself poses no direct threat, its arrival spells imminent danger.
For firebenders, this star is a vital source of power, amplifying their abilities and making them extremely powerful. The last time the comet crossed the skies, the Fire Nation unleashed a terrible wave of destruction. There was a genocide of peaceful air nomads, culminating in Aang being frozen at the South Pole.

The Netflix production tells the story of Aang, a young Avatar who has the task of mastering all the elements to achieve peace and harmony in a world devastated by the threat of the Fire Nation. Albert Kim (The Legend of the Headless Horseman, Nikita) is the live-action showrunner, executive producer and writer.
The 2005 animation, Avatar: The Last Airbender, is also available on the platform. With three seasons (61 episodes), the series was a huge success and became a huge franchise with sequels for TV, books and comics.
