Ralph Hendry and his wife Kathy Brandel have disappeared in the United States. The two were last seen on Sunday the 18th. The couple lived on the ship Simplicityfound in the Caribbean, with signs of violence.
Their yacht was used by three criminals who had escaped from a local prison and were trying to leave the island, according to local police investigations. Ron Mitchell (30 years old), Trevon Robertson (19) and Abita Stanislaus (20) are the suspects in the crime and were found on Wednesday the 20th.
According to investigations, Hendry and Brandel may have been kidnapped by the trio of fugitives, killed and thrown into the sea. The couple’s yacht was abandoned in the port of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The person who located it reported seeing signs of violence and blood on the vessel, which supports the theory.
The three were serving sentences for violent robbery, assault and, according to police, the eldest had also been convicted of three attempted rapes.
They have been in prison since December last year and are now under investigation for the disappearance of Mr and Mrs Hendry.
“The RGPF is currently working on evidence to suggest that the two occupants of the yacht may have died in the process. The occupants of the yacht are believed to be American citizens,” police said in a Facebook post.
