A Better Life Preview: What’s in store for Tuesday 27 February 2024 Episode 37 [SPOILERS]

Tuesday February 27 A more beautiful life, even more beautiful

Eric destroys the evidence

Nothing is going well between Ariane and Zoe. And for good reason, the teenager is angry at her mother for arresting Louis Robb, the man she considers her father. Ariane tries to explain that it’s for her own good, but Zoe doesn’t want to hear anything. Out of anger, the young girl told her mother that she would probably prefer to die at birth. Ariane’s heart hurts with such comments.

At the Mistral police station, Meilin informs Jean-Paul that Mrs. Kepler is angry because she still has no information from her necklace. She pressures the police to find the jewels and arrest Louis Robbie’s accomplice.

Later in the day, Jean-Paul takes Ariane on an errand. He asks his colleague if he was the one who soiled the piece of cloth found at the scene of the theft. Ariane promises you that he has nothing to do with all this. She asks Jean-Paul to protect her daughter’s secret, but he loses patience.

After a day at work, Ariane meets Eric at the bar Le Mistral. She thanks him for protecting the only piece of evidence that incriminated Zoe. He seizes the opportunity and confides in her. He says he doesn’t know how to deal with Zoe anymore. He didn’t know how attached the teenager was to Louis and was afraid he might run away. Ariane, on the verge of tears, adds: “How do you want me to make up for fifteen years of absence?”

Aya confronts Mrs. Kepler

Aya visits her new friend Ophel, Mrs. Kepler’s daughter. The latter is happy to see him again and apologizes for raising his voice the day before. Aya tries to find out what he is hiding. He asks if she has agoraphobia, and the girl replies. She confides in him that her social phobia started a few years ago, but she doesn’t like to talk about it.

Suddenly Mrs. Kepler appears in her daughter’s room. He is surprised to see Ophel having visitors and asks Aya to leave. Aya says as she leaves “see you soon” to Mrs. Kepler, but he replies hostilely: “Of course not, I’d rather you never see my daughter again. I just want to protect Ophel, she’s been through a lot”. Tension shows between the two women and Aya leaves the house. What dark secret is this family hiding?

Maxime is hiding things

Babette treats the wound on her husband’s face. He takes the opportunity to tell her that he doesn’t believe for a second his murder theory. Like most people around him, he is convinced that he had a hallucination on Friday night. He advises her to get some fresh air to clear her mind again. But Patrick doesn’t want to hear anything. He sits down by the window, takes out his binoculars, and begins a solo investigation.

Back at the doctor’s office, Leah and Babette discuss Patrick’s mental health. Babette is furious with her husband, and Leah is worried. Georges informs them that he has made an appointment for a new scan. He wants to check if his injury is the cause of these hallucinations.

In the afternoon, Leah visits Patrick. He finds her by the living room window, more focused than ever on her new mission. He discovers that he ordered a telephoto zoom lens to get a better look at his neighbors. Leah is confused. Before leaving for work, she gives Patrick a list of series and podcasts to find to distract his mind.

On the other hand, Maxime Leroy talks to a mysterious person. He exclaims: “It’s none of your business what happens with Luna. It’s always been clear between us, everyone does what they want as long as it doesn’t endanger our organization.”. Thomas listens to the conversation and asks if everything is okay. Maxime replies that it is a simple problem with his partner.

Later, Maxime meets Luna at the port of Marseille. The latter is angry with him, he is sure that he is cheating with another woman (this rumor was started by Thomas). Maxime tries to calm him down and tells him that it is Cecilia, his accomplice. He offers to take her to her place to meet her.

Luna goes to Cecilia’s house with Maxime. We find out it’s Patrick’s neighbor who he thought was dead. At the same time, Patrick discovers that Luna is at this woman’s house and takes the opportunity to film the scene.
