The creators of ‘Stranger Things’Matt and Ross Duffer, have teased what fans could expect from their incredibly secret project (in which, remember, the actors of ‘Stranger Things’ put a condition for the spin-off).
A spin-off so surrounded by mystery that Netflix has not been able to announce or confirm anything formally, possibly waiting until the end of this fourth season to reveal any possible details. A fourth season that also contains some of the best episodes of ‘Stranger Things’.
However, when they revealed that the fifth and final season of the hit sci-fi horror series won’t be the last, the Duffers scoffed, “I still there are many more exciting stories to tell into the world of ‘Stranger Things,’ new mysteries, new adventures, new unexpected heroes.”
We hope that in the fifth season Erica will have a greater role, and that is, in the absence of knowing what this second batch of episodes of Season 4 will bring us, if something has been criticized about this new installment it is the fact that ‘Stranger Things 4’ does not use one of his best characters.
While they were talking with Varietythe duo have kept this potential spin-off firmly under wraps, yet somehow Finn Wolfhard was able to guess completely what this new show will entail.
“Finn Wolfhard just said, ‘I think this would be a great spin-off,'” Ross said. To his surprise, they both firmly believe that their young star will be a “really talented director” in the future.
With all this silence around the project, the American media asked them if it was likely that they would have to wait until the last chapter of the Netflix series was finished to start working on the untitled project.
“Probably,” said the brothers. “There is a version that is developed in parallel [a la quinta temporada]but we would never shoot it in parallel,” Ross said.
“I think we’re actually going to start digging into it as soon as we’re finishing up these visual effects. Matt and I are going to start getting into it.“.
Matt continued, “The reason we haven’t done anything is just because you don’t want to do it for the wrong reasons, and I was like, ‘Is this something I would want to do regardless of whether it’s related to ‘Stranger Things’ or not?
“Even if we take away the ‘Stranger Things’ title, I’m so, so excited about it. vaa be different from what anyone expectsincluding Netflix,” added Matt.
Netflix will premiere in Spain on July 1 Part 2 of season 4 of ‘Stranger Things’
