The biggest film awards of the year haven’t arrived yet, but they already promise great emotions. Second Varietythe 2024 Oscars will feature a live performance of “I’m Just Ken,” the theme song to Barbie’s Ken, featuring Ryan Gosling.
The song is among the nominations for the award for best original song, which will be awarded to the winner during the ceremony scheduled for March 10th.

In addition to “I’m Just Ken,” another live-action Barbie soundtrack was nominated for an Oscar in 2024. “What Was I Made For,” by Billie Eilish and Finneas, which won the Grammy for best song for visual media, also compiled the list of nominations.
The film starring the most famous doll in the world is among those in the running for the Best Film award. Ryan Gosling was nominated for Best Supporting Actor and America Ferrera for Best Supporting Actress. Margot Robbie and the film’s director, Greta Gerwig, are in the Best Actress and Best Director categories respectively.
