Things could have gone well legally for Britney Spears when the judge ruled in November that her 13-year guardianship was no longer needed. In fact, she criticized most of her relatives, including father Jamie, mother Lynne and sister Jamie Lynn, for the role they would play in the restrictive legal settlement. Spears’ mother recently said she wants her to be happy now, even though the pop singer apparently had a grim response to her comment.

If we (including Lynne Spears) are reading between the lines correctly here, then Britney is apparently leaving some not-so-subtle hints that she’s perfectly satisfied with her life right now, with the added bonus of not needing the direct approval. nobody anymore either.
