Iris settles scores with Constance
The day before, Constance revealed that she was the one who lied, claiming that Iris had cheated on Mark. And it was she who convinced her husband.
Therefore, Teissier is angry at his wife for years of cheating and using him, which destroys Leroy’s family life. Filled with remorse, Constance admits that she panicked because she had the impression that something was going on between Iris and Emmanuel at the time. In fact, she saw them as very close and very complicit, and she couldn’t help but feel obligated to Iris. However, Teissier insists that he never cheated on her.
Constance adds that she hoped her husband would stop idealizing Iris if he thought she could cheat on Mark. He didn’t think things would escalate so quickly. After that, he didn’t feel like he could go back. Tessier then tells his wife that he loves her no matter what.
Meanwhile, Mark informs Jim and Jasmine that the surgery and transplant went well. When Jimmy expresses his desire to be at his brother’s bedside when he wakes up, his father asks him not to tell him about Constance’s revelations. He prefers to take care of himself.
Jimmy walks over to Thibaut’s bedside. With his eyes open, the latter neither wants to see him nor talk to him. For his part, Mark goes to Iris’ bedside. He tells her again that he did not betray her. From now on, he believes her and admits that Constance is the source of this lie.
At the Institute, Tom openly criticizes Jim and Jasmine as they appear together in public after Thibaut’s betrayal. If Jasmine has a hard time accepting him, Jim doesn’t really care. He loves her and has no desire to hide it.
Later, Constance goes to see Iris at the hospital because the latter asked to see her. Constance apologizes to him for everything that happened. In revenge, Iris shows him a fiery letter Tessier wrote to her. Constance claims that she knew about it and that she suspected their affair. Iris replies that she would never do that for her or Mark. He also mentions that he still doesn’t know that his best friend back then had such feelings for him.
Indeed, everyone ignores Mark. Talking to Tessier, he admits that he still doesn’t know why Constance told that lie…
David and Deva decide to separate
At her roommate in the swamp, Deva surprises David when she sells a few things online, like a ticket to Orelsan’s concert or the pétanque balls she’ll use in her tournament. Deva will make sure that it is not too sad to cancel all these events. David says no. But Livio was not deceived. He sees that David does not want to go.
At the institute, David plays a game of pétanque with Lionel. Carla joins in. Returning to her roommate, the young girl admits that she will miss the couple. David jokes. Deva takes them aside to the room for a serious talk.
Indeed, Deva understood that her lover did not want to go, but she forced herself to please him. However, he does not want to impose anything on her at all. So he suggests that they separate and each follow their own desires.
Penelope kisses Antoine
At the office, Leticia wants to know if Antoine has managed to find out more about Penelope’s feelings for her. The deputy director immediately answers that the relationship between them will be impossible, because he is the supervisor and she is a student. At the same time, Clotilde reveals to Antoine that she is going to replace Teyssier in order to test Jan. Antoine is not comforted by this decision given Clotilde’s views on the course of his immersion.
Later, Penelope asks Clotilda if Ian will be tested. The chef replies that Antoine quit. Once with Billy, Penelope found this very cowardly on Antoine’s part.
In fact, Antoine managed to supervise Claire Yan’s test. The latter passes with flying colors.
At the end of the day, Penelope calls Antoine in the park and accuses him of letting Ian go. The assistant principal clears up the confusion and confirms that Ian has passed the test and is officially admitted to the immersion course. He adds that he came forward thanks to Clotilde’s support. Touched, Penelope kisses him before pulling back to apologize for her behavior. But Antoine returns the kiss.
