It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Monday 4th March 2024 Episode 874 [SPOILERS]

On Monday, March 4, everything starts here…

Suleiman and Ian surprise Antoine and Penelope

After the kiss they shared on Friday night, Antoine and Penelope spent the night together. On Monday, Antoine meets Penelope in the greenhouse to tell her that he loved their time together. However, he emphasizes their inability to appear at the institute during the day, due to their respective situations. He suggests that Penelope meet at the end of the day to discuss this in peace.

Antoine then goes to the management office. Seeing him on cloud nine, Leticia suspects him of having an affair with Penelope, but Antoine flatly denies it. At the same time, Suleiman arrives. Antoine gives him the service uniform he had forgotten. Suleiman replies that he has no work today, then ironically thanks his father for pointing out that he is in trouble. After his son leaves, Antoine admits to Laetitia that he does not know how to explain the subject of his academic failure without revealing it. She advises him to show Suleiman that he trusts him by giving him more cooking responsibilities.

Meanwhile, Ian arrives at the institute. He asks Tom and Bill for directions and stops to talk to them. Bill explains that Penelope really fought for the immersion course to exist. Ian admits that he would never have dared to take the Institute exam and that he is truly grateful to have this opportunity.

A little later, Antoine enters the first years at the end of Listrac’s chef class to introduce Ian to the students. He appoints Suleiman as his guardian, not realizing that his son is not interested. Once Antoine leaves, Suleiman stays in the kitchen to practice for Chef Listrac’s next challenge, namely vegan sauces. Next to him, Ian asks a lot of questions, which annoys him. When Ian advises him not to add tomato paste to his sauce, Suleiman breaks down and decides to get some fresh air.

In the cafeteria, Suleiman admits to Carla and Berenice that he doesn’t feel like he can take Ian under his wing because he wants to focus on his weaknesses in the kitchen and get back on track. The girls urge her to tell her father the truth.

At the end of the day, Penelope joins Antoine in his office to talk. The deputy director names all the obstacles that prevent their relationship from moving forward. However, he cannot resist the temptation. At the same time, Suleiman meets Yan in the corridor. He tells her that he cannot become her guardian. The two boys head together to the management office, where they find Antoine and Penelope kissing through the half-open door…

Hortense hires a pastry chef

At the atelier, Nolan gathers Hortense for her wedding in three weeks. He approves of all her suggestions except for dessert, explaining that the bride and groom-to-be are very demanding about it. Hortense announces that she will give the dessert to a real pastry chef. Nolan trusts him and suggests that he check again the next day.

Hortense goes to the studio where she explains her situation to Joachim. She asks for help in creating the original structure of the wedding buffet. Mehdi hears their conversation. When Hortense turns around, Mehdi questions her about it, but she insists she wasn’t talking about anything special.

Hortense then asks Teissier for permission to hire a real pastry chef for her special wedding party. He first mentions Landiras, Anais, Salome and Livio. Teissier is surprised that Mehdi is not chosen directly. Hortense explains that she didn’t want him to think she was favoring her husband, even though things are strained between them. But Teissier grants it.

Happy and relieved, Hortense proudly announces to Mehdi that she has chosen him as the pastry chef for her brigade. He explains that he had to be sure Teissier agreed. Mehdi happily accepts.

Constance ignores Teyssier

At the hospital, Jimmy is at his mother’s bedside. He is responding well to the transplant and should be out in a few weeks. At the same time, Constance comes to see him to talk alone.

Constance admits to Iris that, contrary to her claims, she did not know about the existence of the fiery letter Tessier wrote to her at the time. She was heartbroken to realize that her husband had feelings for her. However, Constance said nothing about this discovery. And he asks Iris not to say anything to him. The latter receives before its firing.

At the institute, Constance receives a message from Teisius, who invites her to dinner that evening. Laetitia and Zacharias are arguing in front of him. As soon as Laetitia leaves, Constance suggests to Zachary that they go out for a drink together after work.

At the end of the day, Teissier returns home and asks Berenica if she has seen Constance. A young girl claims that she saw him with Landira. She sees that her brother-in-law is panicking and asks him why he is neglecting his sister. Tessier doesn’t want to tell him anything. He’d rather bake with her than think of something else.
