This Sunday (3), Valencia reported that Diakhaby suffered a dislocated right knee. The athlete was injured in the 2-2 draw against Real Madrid, in a match valid for the 27th round of La Liga, at the Mestalla. According to the Spanish press, the player could spend up to a year without playing. The athlete remains in hospital for treatment.

– Player Mouctar Diakhaby suffered a dislocation of his right knee in the match played yesterday, Saturday, at the Mestalla, against Real Madrid CF. After initial medical treatment, the Valencian defender remained hospitalized for clinical monitoring and awaits further checks – Valencia said this in a statement.

Diakhaby was injured late in the second half. In an argument with Tchouaméni, the Real Madrid player ended up falling on the knee of the Valencia athlete, who left the field on a stretcher, already suspected of having a serious injury. The player was taken directly to hospital.
