The wait is over! The second season of The House of the Dragon will debut in June of this year. The confirmation came after a statement from JB Perrette, head of streaming and gaming at Warner Bros. Discovery.
The speech indicating the arrival of the new episodes of the series occurred during an interview at a Morgan Stanley conference, as reported Variety. However, the exact day of the release of the second part of the story was not provided, but only the month.
If the new season of The House of the Dragon follow the tradition of game of Thrones, new episodes can start airing on Sundays. Possible dates are June 2, 9, 16, 23 or 30.
The series is one of the few major productions whose filming was not affected by the Hollywood writers’ and actors’ strike. This is because the entire recording process takes place in the UK, with a predominantly British crew and cast. The information comes from Omelette.
