In his speech, Nolan thanked him for being part of cinema history. At the 2024 Oscars, Nolan won his first two statuettes: in addition to the one for best director, he won the one for best film (“Oppenheimer”).

Look at the big favorites who didn’t win the Oscar
Predictions are not always correct. Big favorites have already fallen into oblivion, including some of the greatest films in world cinema.
