Bradley Cooper came out of Oscar without a statuette for the 12th time. The actor competed in three categories — Best Actor, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Film for Conductor —, but left the awards ceremony, which took place last Sunday, the 10th, empty-handed. Cillian Murphy won the award for Best Actor, Anatomy of a Fall for Best Original Screenplay and Oppenheimer for Best Film.
The first time that Cooper entered the race for Oscar was in 2013, in the Best Actor category for his role in The good side of life (2012). The following year, he competed for Best Supporting Actor for Cheating (2013). In 2015, the actor was competing for Best Actor and Best Film, for American sniper (2014). Four years later, in 2019, he received three opportunities to take the award for A Star Is Born (2018) in the categories of Best Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Film. In 2020, the chance to Bradley I was Joker, as producer in the Best Film category. Two years later, he could take the prize with Nightmare Alley (2021), which was up for Best Film.
