On Wednesday evening (11), the Deliberative Council of Palmeiras unanimously approved the 2023 financial statement. Of the 199 councilors present, eight accepted the document with reservations. The club’s revenue was R$839 million last season, with a surplus of R$8.5 million.

As for revenues, they were R$130 million higher than expected. Verdão raised R$37.5 million from brand licensing and franchising (R$14.8 million more than in 2022). This came about due to the launch of the club’s digital bank, Palmeiras Pay. As regards Socio Avanti, an increase of R$9 million was recorded with the values ​​of 2022, thus reaching R$58.7 million.

The emphasis was on sales of advertising signs, with R$ 26.2 million last year. The value was R$14.5 million in 2022. The reduction in sponsorships and advertising went from R$142.6 million in 2022 to R$127.1 million in 2023.

In terms of revenue for 2024, Palmeiras has a budget of R$880 million. The value of negotiations with players will be almost R$300 million. This is due to the sale of the jewel Endrick to Real Madrid, the accounting entry of which will take place when the attacker’s transfer is finalized mid-year.
