Erotic thriller Body Fever will get a remake! 1982 Lawrence Kasdan feature film starring the late William Hurt, Kathleen Turner, Richard Crenna, Mickey Rourke and Ted Denson – in his first leading role – as Ned (Hurt), an incompetent lawyer who meets Mattie Walker (Turner) married to a wealthy man (Crenna) Pretty woman. The pair then embark on a passionate affair and agree to kill Matt’s troubled husband…

On a $9 million budget, the film grossed $24 million at the North American box office and paid homage to 1940s noir films, particularly Billy Wilder’s Death Insurance, which the story directly inspired.

This is the first feature film of the screenwriter and producer Lawrence Kasdan who recently finished writing Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back and Raiders of the Lost Ark.
