Registrations are open for the free course on good practices for catering, promoted by the city of Porto Alegre and organized by Sala do Empreendedor in collaboration with the Municipal Secretariat for Economic Development and Tourism (SMDET) and Sebrae-RS. The course will take place over the days March 26, 27 and 28in Rua Júlio de Castilhos, 120, in the Historic Center.
Interested parties can register by sending an email to cursoboaspraticas@portoalegre.rs.gov.br. The course, which totals 12 hours of training distributed over three afternoons (from 1.30pm to 5.30pm), will award certificates to participants.
The course syllabus will cover fundamental technical skills to ensure good practices in food handling, as well as compliance with current legislation, including RDC 52/14 and 216/04 of Anvisa and Ordinances 1224/14 and 78/09 of SES/RS. Furthermore, participants will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge municipal legislation of Porto Alegrepursuant to ordinances 1.120/2015 and 1.109/2016.
