Universal+ lands on Prime Video; learn more

NBCUniversal International and Amazon announced, this Wednesday (13), the launch of Universal + on Prime Video in Brazil. Now, Prime customers can subscribe to streaming in the app itself, on Prime Video channels, just as was already possible with Paramount+, Premiere, Looke, among others.‌

The streaming service has been present in Brazil since February, also for Claro TV+ customers. Universal+ subscribers on Prime Video will have exclusive content, including “Saturday Night Live (SNL)”, with all the musical performances of the series arriving in our country for the first time, as the attraction celebrates 50 years of being on air.

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Amazon, which marks a significant expansion of Universal+ into the Brazilian market,” says Marcello Coltro, senior vice president of affiliate relations, marketing and creative at NBCUniversal International for Latin America.

“After the successful debut of our platform in Latin America in February, this new agreement highlights our commitment to providing Brazilian audiences with exclusive content tailored to their preferences, including our original productions. We are confident that this collaboration will further consolidate our presence and improve the viewing experience on our platform for viewers across Brazil.”

Universal+ and its content

‌In Brazil, Universal+ is a streaming service that features series produced in the United States, unscripted content and original productions from NBCUIN. In addition to on-demand content, the service incorporates two premium network brands: Universal Premiere and Universal Reality.
