Michael Jackson biopic will not address pedophilia allegations, says director

Antoine Fuquain Seven Men and a Destiny (2016) and Emancipation – A Story of Freedom (2022), was chosen to direct the biopic based on the script by John Logannominated for an Oscar for his screenplays Gladiator (2000), The Aviator (2004) and Hugo Cabret’s invention (2011).

The film, which should hit theaters on April 18, 2025, will star Jaafar Jacksonnephew of Michael Jacksonand also has Juliano Valdifrom the series The Hug Machine (2022- ) and Bite Size Halloween (2020- ), playing the star during his childhood; Nia Longin NCIS: Los Angeles (2009-2023), and Colman Domingoin Rustin (2023), as the artist’s mother and father; It is Miles Teller (Top Gun: Maverick) as the lawyer John Branca.
