After Fortaleza qualified for the Copa do Brasil, Leão’s coach spoke about the team’s difficulties, but defended the improvements in the team’s performance
After Fortaleza qualified on penalties for the third phase of the Copa do Brasil, in a press conference, coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda spoke again about the shooting errors and said he believed in improvements for the semi-final of the Cearense Championship: “Let’s be calm, so we don’t have the suffocation that happened today.”

Vojvoda acknowledges Fortaleza’s performance in the match, but finishing errors still bother Tricolor de Aço’s commander.
“There were 25 shots on goal, then there were many crosses… I think the team creates situations and we are not in a moment in which we have that ability, that tranquility to define“Vojvoda said.
Despite the coach’s discomfort for the errors made at the end of the plays, now is the time to focus on the match against Maracanã. Next Sunday (17th), Fortaleza will play the second match of the semi-finals of the Campeonato Cearense. Leão wants to continue dreaming of sixth place in the state championship, so Vojvoda says that he will work on his mistakes and believes that his team will be able to play a good match:
– It’s an open semi-final and we will play with the best. We have to recover the players, we have to think and plan the next two days well, because we are in an important competition, like the Campeonato Cearense. And we have to correct it, but we will play a good game and I have faith in my players, that we will do what we have to do, we will create situations. (…) Let’s stay calm so as not to have the suffocation that occurred today. – projected Vojvoda.
