Want to experience a bit of dystopia again? Fans of Charlie Brooker’s dark and satirical anthology series will be pleased to know that Black Mirror will return to Netflix for a seventh season in 2025.
This stream of six new episodes includes the continuation of the episode “USS Callister” from season 4, starring Christine Miliot and Jesse Plemons.
The announcement was made during the Next on Netflix event at Picturehouse Central, a film and cultural space located in London, on Thursday (April 14). This event around Netflix’s upcoming lineup was the cause of many casting announcements and new features, and brought together the stars of the platform.
What’s next for the USS Callister?
“Robert Daly is dead, but trouble has just begun for the crew of the USS Callister– said the streaming giant in the form of a teaser. There is also a small teaser that confirms the news.
Six new stories.

This episode of Black Mirror is a follow-up to the Season 4 premiere, which followed Robert Daly, played by Jesse Plemons, a reclusive programmer who founded a popular multiplayer online game.
Dahl, a boy very disappointed in life, has a Star Trek-style space adventure inside the game, using the DNA of his colleagues to create digital clones of them and leading them as the captain of the USS Callister spaceship.
But new recruit Nanette Cole, played by Christine Milioti, encourages the rest of the crew to rebel against their captain.
Fascinating and touching stories
So we can assume that Christine Milliot will reprise the role of Nanette Cole. We can also hope to find Jimmy Simpson, Mikaela Coel, and Billy Magnussen, who were part of the cast, but we’ll have to wait for confirmation from Netflix to be sure.
The return of Black Mirror promises to immerse us once again in fascinating and disturbing stories that explore the impact of technology on our society and humanity.
Fans can now prepare to push their limits with creator Charlie Brooker’s sharp insights into our modern world.
