In an electrifying leaderboard, Pascal Wehrlein (Porsche) took pole position in the Sao Paulo ePrix with an almost negligible difference. Formula E is known for its very small differences. But now the advantage was only 2 thousandths!

Group 1 – Classification
The first group consisted of Cassidy (Jaguar), Vergne (DS Penske), Evans (Jaguar), Frinjs (Envision), Rowland (Nissan), Vandoorne (DS Penske), Nato (Andretti), Sette Camara (ERT), Muller (ABT), De Vries (Mahindra) and Di Grassi (ABT).
