Dr Bash on TF1: What is this new Canadian medical series?

On Wednesday, March 20, 2024, TF1 invites its viewers to tune in to the start of season 3 of the hit Italian series Doc at 9:10 p.m. But that’s not all, as the channel hopes to keep the public on the air in the second half of the evening thanks to the arrival of a new Canadian medical fiction called Dr Bash from 11:20 p.m.

Who is Doctor Bash played by Hamza Haq?

In this program called transplant In the original version (already seen on Warner TV), we discover Dr. Bashir Hamed, aka “Bash,” a Syrian emergency medicine doctor with proven combat skills. Along with her younger sister, Amira, she fled the country during the civil war.

Together they try to build a new life in Canada. Bash, who lives in the emergency room at York Memorial Hospital in Toronto, devotes all his energy to building a career. Although he is still troubled by life in Syria, he overcomes his trauma every day to provide the best possible care for his patients…

The series was canceled after four seasons

Actor Hamza Haq wears the white coat of Dr. Bash’s character. This answers Lawrence LeBoeuf (Magali LeBlanc), John Hannah (Jed Bishop), Aisha Issa (Eun Curtis), Jim Watson (Theo Hunter), Sirena Gulamgauss (Amira Hamed) and Tori Higginson (Claire Maloney).

Dr. Bash began airing in Canada in 2020 and ran for four seasons, making the series 49 episodes. Joseph Kay, the creator, revealed that the fiction will not go beyond that, as he originally designed it to include only four episodes.
