I thought it was a good idea to move forward right after Part One,” he said.
“We were already designing, writing, etc. But it also meant that for six years I was in Arrakis non-stop and I think it would be healthy to step back a little,” he continued Villeneuve. “First, make sure we have a strong script. What I want to avoid is not having something ready. I’ve never done that and now I feel like it could be dangerous because of the enthusiasm. We need to make sure all the ideas are on paper.”
