It only took three days for the film to be released. Taylor Swift: The Turn of the Ages, which features the blonde pop singer’s most recent tour, has become the most-watched music special on the Disney+ streaming platform. Disney itself announced that the record had been broken.
In just the first weekend that The Eras Tour film became available in the Disney+ catalog, it has already been viewed more than 4.6 million times. Overall, audiences watched 16.2 million hours of the three-and-a-half-hour super production during the period.
The Tour of the Ages at the cinema and in streaming
To become the most watched concert film on Disney+, The Eras Tour has surpassed Folklore: the long study sessions in the pondalso by Taylor Swift, Elton John: goodbye from Dodger Stadium, Black Is King: A Beyoncé Film AND The Beatles: Going Back.
The Eras Tour was in Brazil, with a series of shows in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, in November last year. More precisely, at the Nilton Santos Stadium, in Rio de Janeiro, on 17, 19 and 20 November, and at the Allianz Parque, in Sao Paulo, on the 24th, 25th and 26th of the same month.
