Thirteen Lives: Trailer recreates the dramatic rescue of boys in a flooded cave

Amazon Prime Video has released the poster and trailer for “Thirteen Lives – The Rescue”, on the true story of the rescue of 12 young Thai footballers and their coach from a flooded cave. The 2018 incident attracted worldwide attention and attracted more than 10,000 volunteers, who joined an international group of experts to organize and execute one of the most daring and dangerous rescues of all time.

The plot centers on the team of divers, the most skilled and experienced in the world, who have been able to navigate the labyrinth of narrow and flooded cave tunnels to find young people, not knowing if they had survived the flood or how long they should live. ..

The screenplay is by William Nicholson (Oscar nominee for “Gladiator”), directed by Ron Howard (“Solo: A Star Wars Story”) and the cast includes Viggo Mortensen (“Green Book”), Colin Farrell (” Batman “).”), Joel Edgerton (“Obi-Wan Kenobi”), Tom Bateman (“Death on the Nile”) and Josh Helman (“Mad Max: Fury Road”).

The film will be released in theaters on July 29, before being released on August 5 on Prime Video.
