The documentary “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV” shows the working environment experienced during the taping of several Nickelodeon series, where former employees accused Dan Schneider of the unpleasant treatment they experienced.
Jenny Kilgen, a former writer for “The Amanda Show,” said Snyder made sexual jokes and inappropriate comments in the writers’ room. Additionally, other former employees described a hostile and abusive work environment where they feared retaliation if they opposed Schneider or stood up for their rights.
“Drake & Josh” actor Drake Bell and “Zoey 101” star Alexa Nikolas also gave their testimonies and their interviews have gone viral.
Although he was not involved in the documentary, Dan Schneider decided to address the allegations and acknowledged that some of his behavior was not right.
