Emma Roberts to star in ‘Spider-Man’ spin-off with Dakota Johnson and Sidney Sweeney

Deadline reports that Emma Roberts, 31, has officially joined the cast of the upcoming Spider-Man spin-off, Madame Web. The film will be directed by television director SJ Clarkson.

In addition to Roberts, the star of “50 Shades of Grey” Dakota Johnson has already been approved for the main roles, who will play the clairvoyant mutant Madame Web, as well as Sydney Sweeney, who has gained worldwide fame thanks to her role as high school student Cassie Howard in the sensational teen drama “Euphoria”. This is truly a dream cast.

Madame Web will be the latest in a series of Spider-Man spin-offs that also includes the blockbusters Venom, Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Morbius.

In addition to “Madame Web” this year, Roberts will start shooting in another picture – “Return”. Most recently, she completed work on the film “Maybe I’ll Do It”, where she plays side by side with Hollywood legends such as Richard Gere, Diane Keaton and Susan Sarandon, and two more films with Roberts – “City of Saurus” and ” About Destiny” are currently in the post-production stage. The actress was glorified by the series “American Horror Story” and “Scream Queens”.
